  • POEM: 'Rumors' by Bernard Snyder (12/23/2014 10:28:00 AM)

Rumours in abundance. The stuff of rumours, and their ins and outs. We seem informed by a theme. Well done!

  • POEM: A Song by William Blake (11/21/2009 1:08:00 PM)

A poem about smiles and smiling from the youngest people. Blake can carry an intense feeling of care in his poems, especially this one. Sweet dreams to us all! We are far away from the age of a baby, and we find these people pleasant from Blake.

  • POEM: To Be In Love by Gwendolyn Brooks (8/6/2008 3:45:00 PM)

I like the swing of the poet. It gives us a long look, and a brief shape to the aspect of being in love. The abstract cares are finally uplifting the poem’s enterprise, and unique glimpses are made on the beauty of the subject. It can release a passion, just as the matter itself can release excitement. Much of the poem strives for a natural appraisal of being in love, with a similitude that is perfect, and an ending so metaphorical.
