There's some truth to it, granted, but you oversimplify the issue of suicide. Perhaps suicide is blind, selfish, stupid, all of these things, but, regardless, do you believe that any suicidal person would - upon reading this poem - reconsider anything? Come to some sudden understanding? Make the decision not to kill themselves? This poem, to me, is merely scathing. Christ, you're mocking the poor people; kicking them while they're down. The viciousness of the poem, its snide tone, achieves nothing - if anything, you'll leave the suicidal feeling more wretched.
