  • POEM: Candle In The Wind by xelam kan (4/20/2015 5:01:00 PM)

    Terrific poem! Very touching.

  • POEM: If I'M Building A Fort It's Gonna Be In The Desert by Mandolyn ... (2/20/2015 5:16:00 PM)

In this abstract kind of poetry, I don't really look at beginning, middle, or ending. Certainly you can re-write if you like. But, is the poem much different if you presented it like this:

i would have liked to have seen the Grand Canyon
    in its' purest form,
when settlers surfaced across the land
beholding that behemoth of a crater,
    quieting crying babies
    with a squeaky sky

and i'd love to see you in half-light
    riding bareback towards my flag,
    once white
once worthy of a wagon, waving
from the wheelbarrows in my eyes

when pioneers were poked by prosperity
pipe in hand, viewing each vein along the clove
    able to hear the history
    gorging on romantic air!

  • POEM: ~ghost In The Mirrors~ by E Nigma (2/17/2015 2:07:00 PM)

Wow! Another great one. Well done!
