I had written a long letter to you discussing your interesting poem, but now it's vanished before my eyes...I have no idea why! It took me over half an hour to type it with its thoughts in response to what I found a witty poem. But remember, it can easily be reversed to a woman choosing a man. Complicated subject.
I am back to PoemHunter after my own two years of hell - illness, but I am alive and live to the fullest seeking out beauty everywhere. While I was away, someone else (you?) were writing comments under my name. Yes, I knew Wojja Fink when he shared 'English Rain' with me, both as a poem and video.
Your poem is a terrible reminder of September 11th. I think it is a good poem, but unfortunately will not change the minds of the insane zealots who are wandering free all over the world doing, or trying to do, whatever destruction they can kill for - and truly believe they are martyrs, not murderers; sane, not insane. It reminds me of one of Ibsen's plays about fanatics. Congrats re your poem) Please do me a favour, write me a poem about something small but significant that we do have control over. - Pippa Lane
