Susan Williams's last comments on poems and poets

  • POEM: Do You Not Father Me by Dylan Thomas (4/23/2017 6:09:00 PM)

I am, the tower told, felled by a timeless stroke,
Who razed my wooden folly stands aghast, - - - - - - I haven't slept in days now, so maybe that is why I keep seeing The Tower of Babel in myriad places in this poem

  • POEM: Bad Dreams: I by Robert Browning (4/23/2017 5:55:00 PM)

LAST night I saw you in my sleep:
And how your charm of face was changed! - - -It is good to read the classic poets and remember how writing should be done in words well-chosen and straight from the heart.

  • POEM: Rains Won't Stay by Rebecca Navarre (4/19/2017 5:20:00 PM)

Another well thought out poem about life and hope and tribulations and God. You are obviously not afraid to take on the big topics! ! ! And you do it in such a gentle-spoken way that draws your reader in instead of chasing him away. Well done. 10's abound
