  • POEM: Pristine Love by Khairul Ahsan (2/25/2015 9:04:00 PM)

After all these months, I've reread 'Pristine Love'. For some unfathomable reason, I am finding myself loving it even more.
I can't say why. I can't say what makes it so beautiful. I can't say what my favorite part of it this particular writing is, but I can say that it's magic. It's that morning sunrise above a pond, it's the dewdrops dusting the early morning, it's that one smile that comes from a special sunrise.
    We see sunrises everywhere.
We see stupid little ponds and fake smiles everywhere.
But at a given particular moment, if you're just lucky enough to witness it, that spark of something, just something... you'll know it. We'll know it. You will know if that certain something is there or just down the drain. It's... intangible, if I must say.
All this is probably a blub of incoherence. I'm spewing everything at a mere whim.
And Softly Silence Speaks? To A Young Poet? Priceless. Just priceless. I know I am speaking to an elder, but I can't hold myself. For this, I apologize in advance.
If more people don't know you, I have no idea whatsoever, just what you have been doing! Or for that matter, what the people around us have been doing.
I must be off before my father comes to reprimand me.

  • POEM: 30 Minute Allotment ... [very Short; Personal; Time Online; Humor] by Bri Edwards (2/25/2015 5:43:00 PM)

Ha, impressed with my amazing rhyming skills, are we?
Well, you can diminish your time spent online and going offline by throwing a grand party giving everyone your home address. Give me the time and date, and I'll be there.

  • POEM: Song Of The Foot Track by Elsie Cole (8/19/2014 7:57:00 PM)

I should SERIOUSLY get onto Poem Hunter more often... I mean look at the poems I have been missing!
This poem was awesome, I loved it a bunch. :)
