  • POEM: Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night by Dylan Thomas (5/6/2017 7:05:00 PM)

This website is allowing me to write just a little then freezing.50 years after the event you write, no, the sorrow and loss and pain has not left you. You will have built a life for yourself around this loss and pain. Of course you have. You have grown from very sore troubled teen to a responsible mature adult. Sadly,50 years on, people think you should have got over it.... Not so. Your father is as real to you now as he was struggling to cope with his horrendous injuries then. He did not want to leave you. He was your dad, he loved you, of course he didn't want to leave you. You must know this. Please know this. Your dear father loved you. He so did not want to leave you. Even 50 years on, yes, you can talk to him. Please talk to your dad. He can hear you. You were his boy. He loved you. He sure did not www the to leave you. So just talk to him. Love never dies. Best wishes. Xxx

Hello Fred De La Foret, now, you must be about 64, and you have lived without your father for 50 years. Sir, I know that the pain and loss does not go away. It does not go away.
