Dee

DEE

SUCH FORMALITY,
FROM ONE SO INFORMAL
AT A WEDDING OF DESIRES.
SO INFORMED OF FRIENDS,
THAT MENDS,
THE LONELINESS OF DESIRE.
THE PERSONAL OF THE PERSONAL
IN SEARCH,
THAT BROUGHT DEE,
TO ME.

UNDER THE FLAG,
THAT TENDER, TENDERS AGE
IN THE SERVICE,
OF THOSE WHO SERVED,
AND DESERVED,
THEIR PLACE OF CARE.
UNDER THE ANGEL WINGS
I SEE.

TO SOFT?
THE HONEST, WITTY STANDS,
WHO ACCEPTS THOSE WHO ASK
OF HER HELPING HAND,
AS I OFFER MINE,
TO BE WARMED BY HERS.
SO THAT EACH,
MAY BE KEPT SAFE,
FROM THE HARSHNESS
OF PAST PLAYS,
THAT DELAYS
THE SEARCH FOR TRUE TOGETHERNESS.

FOR NO ANIMAL,
MAN OR BEAST,
WILL EVER BE UNDONE WITH HER.
AND THE GINNIE IN THE GIRL
WILL ALWAYS WALK,
IN THE MEMORY OF DEE
AND HOPEFULLY
SO SHE, WILL REMEMBER ME
